Amazingly small and loaded with personality, the tiny Kikiriki Micro Bantams make wonderful pet chickens. We’ve dubbed them as “pocket chickens” as they are extremely petite, have legs that are an inch or shorter and can fit in your pocket. Our Kikirikis hail from Puerto Rico and are meticulously raised for temperament, size and type. They are tropical birds and are not cold hardy below fifty degrees (fahrenheit). We love these mini chickens and they make a wonderful addition to any exotic bantam collection. If you have not hatched shipped eggs previously, we do not recommend that this breed be hatched by a beginner.

Ameraucana Bantams - I stumbled across this breed and did not expect to find some beautiful Lavender bantams. Since we’ve had them, they have been the friendliest and the most mellow out of our birds. There are days I think they believe they are dogs! They lay beautiful blue eggs and are temperate for the most part provided they have adequate shelter. When selecting our breeders, we take a number of factors into consideration. From personality, to egg-laying potential to crowing; every bird is different and you just never know how much those personalities fluctuate when the hormones kick in. The lavender (Self-Blue) color was recently accepted by the American Bantam Association as a recognized Variety. The next hurdle will be acceptance by the American Poultry Association. Being members of both associations, it is an exciting time for this breed. I can’t wait to see how these birds do for us. So far, they have been a joy to raise.

Originally from Belgium and also dubbed as the Barbu de Watermael, they are an uncommon but wonderful little Belgian Bantam Breed! Fitted with a trifed comb, poofy crest and fluffy beard, they are a true rarity. As friendly as can be, their curiosity will capture your heart. They are one of the most loving bantams you’ll raise. Please make note that these are not a “D’Anvers with a crest”. They are very different in body type.

The colors we breed are Quail, Silver Quail, Lavender and occasionally have Black. Our Black, Silver Quail and Lavender eggs will only be listed as they become available as full dozens. Since they are current projects we are working on, there won’t be many to go around this season but should we get an extra or two, it’s possible that they can be included with your order! 🤞🏼

Our Quail Watermaals did well at the Ohio Nationals the last couple of years obtaining Best of Variety, placing 1st, 2nd and 3rd. I couldn’t be more proud. We work extremely hard on our breeding, rearing, handling and health of our stock and were pleasantly surprised by the honor. Currently, this breed is only recognized by the American Bantam Association but making its way to recognition by the American Poultry Association! It’s certainly exciting to be working towards APA acceptance of this wonderful little breed and look forward to upcoming shows!
